I’m a designer, educator, and ceramicist based in Toronto, Canada. For the past seven years, I’ve been designing digital tools that help patients and clinicians navigate the complexities of cancer care at UHN’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre—one of Canada’s leading healthcare institutions.

One key theme I wish to explore is how I might bring my love for drawing into my ceramics. I believe mark-making carries deep expression, and I’d like to investigate this during my residency. Whether through surface decoration of a pot, or carving into the bottom of a bowl, I see mark-making as a way to infuse a sense of story, memory, and emotion into the work. I’m excited to experiment with various techniques to translate the immediacy and expressiveness of sketching into my ceramic practice.
