Stay: August 11th to September 22nd

My practice focuses on how memory and observation shape the way we see and remember, and I am now expanding into painting to develop a more layered, expressive approach. Alongside my studio work, I have led illustration and printmaking workshops, fostering creativity and community through shared making.

I hope to use the time at Shiro Oni to focus on developing a new body of work that reflects my response to Onishi’s environment and community. I plan to observe and document the surrounding landscapes, architecture, textures, and moments of daily life through drawing and photography. These collected references will form the foundation of new mixed-media and painting-based experiments.
