KUBO is a third generation Japanese American interdisciplinary artist born in Oshawa, Ontario (Haudenosaunee Land). KUBO has exhibited work at The Anderson Gallery and Candela Gallery in Richmond, Detroit Artists Market, Sechrest Gallery of Art, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Wing Luke Museum, and on Governors Island in New York City.
KUBO received a Bachelors in Studio Art from Oakland University in 2018 and a Masters of Fine Arts in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022. KUBO currently lives and works in New York City.
オンタリオ州オシャワ（ホデノショニ）生まれ、日系アメリカ人3世の異分野融合アーティスト。リッチモンドのアンダーソン・ギャラリーやキャンデラ・ギャラリー、デトロイト・アーティスト・マーケット、セクレスト・ギャラリー・オブ・アート、アナーバー・フィルム・フェスティバル、ウィング・ルーク美術館、ニューヨークのガバナーズ島などで作品を発表している。2018年にオークランド大学からスタジオアートの学士号を、2022年にバージニア・コモンウェルス大学からキネティック・イメージングの美術修士号を取得。現在ニューヨークを拠点に活動している。
