Zela Papageorgiou is a Melbourne-based percussionist, creating, performing and collaborating in the field of contemporary-classical and improvised music. She performs regularly throughout Melbourne’s music scene, often appearing solo or with leading organisations such as Speak Percussion, Play On, Ad Lib Collective, and is the core percussionist for Forest Collective. Zela received her Bachelor of Music Performance with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2016 and attended the Australian National Academy of Music in 2017.
メルボルンを拠点に、コンテンポラリー・クラシカルや即興音楽の分野で創作、演奏、コラボレーションを行っているパーカッショニスト。メルボルンの音楽シーンで定期的に演奏活動を行い、ソロや、スピーク・パーカッション、プレイ・オン、アドリブ・コレクティヴなどの一流団体と共演することも多く、フォレスト・コレクティヴの中心的パーカッショニストでもある。2016年にメルボルン大学で音楽演奏の学士号を優等で取得。2017年にはオーストラリア国立音楽アカデミーにて学ぶ。
