Mauro Fariñas studied Fine Arts both in Spain and Finland, specializing in photography. Following his graduation, he received art residencies in South Korea and Italy before relocating to Berlin, Germany. There he took up ceramics first as a hobby, then as a full-time occupation. He currently works and teaches at a community studio.
スペインとフィンランドで美術を学び、写真を専門とする。卒業後、韓国とイタリアでアート・レジデンスを経験した後、ドイツのベルリンに移住。そこで陶芸を趣味として始め、その後本業となる。現在はコミュニティ・スタジオで働きながら教えている。
