Marina Berio is a visual artist from New York who works with drawings and photography to convey aspects of visual experience that are intimate and visceral, including photographs printed with her own blood and photographic negatives as large-scale charcoal drawings. She was awarded a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship for 2017-18. She holds an MFA in Photography from Bard College and also studied drawing, sculpture and art history.
マリナは写真や絵画を使って、自分の血でプリントした写真やネガ写真を大規模な木炭画など作品を含め、 親密な、内臓的な視覚経験の模様を表現する。2017年-2018年グッゲンハイム財団奨学金を授与された。バード大学の芸術修士号取得、絵画や彫刻、美術史も学んだことある。
