Dan Elborne completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts with first class honours through the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), where he is now undertaking a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) focussed on his ceramic art practice. He is also a part-time visual arts lecturer (ceramics) and studio technician at USQ. He has recieved various awards in support of his art practice including the Sainsbury Sculpture Grant through the National Association of Visual Arts (NAVA) and participated in a number of international artist residencies in places such as Denmark, France, Iceland and Australia.
