Ariel Clute is an artist living in Berkeley, California. After graduating from California College of the Arts in 2008, Ariel taught printmaking at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, California. Her days are now split between being a mother of three girls and working with ceramics in her home studio in Berkeley, California. Her work is a meeting point of form and function, bringing art into the everyday living experience. Each piece is hand built, allowing the shape and feel to emerge organically. Ariel’s work is known for its sculptural, and minimalist forms, one can see the evolution of Ariel Clute’s artistry and approach to the delicate and complexity of each piece. Applying a breadth of techniques that emphasize both construction and texture. 

カリフォルニア州バークレー在住のアーティスト。 3人の娘の母親でもある。2008年にカリフォルニア・カレッジ・オブ・ジ・アーツを卒業後、カリフォルニア州オークランドのクリエイティブ・グロース・アート・センターで版画を教える。構築と質感の両方を強調する幅広い技法を応用し、彫刻的でありながらミニマリスト的な造形で知られている。
