At my studio, MAALS, founded in 2014, I craft ceramics with a love for minimal yet delicate aesthetics. This space is dedicated to slowing down, connecting, and creating beautiful and meaningful objects for daily use. Every piece is handmade, primarily using the traditional technique of throwing on a potter’s wheel.
My journey began during nearly 12 years ago in China, where I immersed myself in the language, culture, and art. This profound experience deeply influences my work, infusing it with Asian philosophy and aesthetics.
Specializing in tabletop objects, I create collections for fine-dining and Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as private collectors. Working with stoneware and porcelain, I focus on simplicity and functionality, often experimenting with new colors and glazes to produce one-of-a-kind pieces.
My aim is to highlight the natural beauty of clay, allowing its shape and subtle hues to interact quietly with its surroundings, creating harmony and balance in every setting.
2014年にスタジオ「MAALS」を設立。ミニマルで繊細な美学を愛する陶磁器を制作している。約12年前、中国にて言語、文化、芸術に没頭した体験が深く影響を与え、アジアの哲学と美学を作品に吹き込んでいる。卓上オブジェを専門に、高級レストランや個人コレクターのためのコレクションを制作している。
