Phyllis, an Australian ceramicist now based in Berlin, specializes in creating functional and whimsical ceramic objects using both the throwing wheel and hand-building techniques. Her journey into ceramics began in 2016 while working as a financial accountant in New York City, offering her an escape from the fast-paced urban life. Through various courses in the UK, the USA and Australia, she has honed her skills and has transitioned into full-time ceramics.
現在ベルリンを拠点に活動するオーストラリア人陶芸家。ろくろと手びねりの両方の技法を用いて、機能的で気まぐれな陶器のオブジェを制作することを専門としている。彼女の陶芸への旅は、ニューヨークで金融会計士として働いていた2016年に始まり、 目まぐるしい都会生活から逃れさせる時間を与えてくれた。イギリス、アメリカ、オーストラリアでの様々なコースを通して技術を磨き、フルタイムの陶芸に移行した。
