Belle Shafir was born in Germany, and immigrated to Israel in 1972. Belle Shafir received her M.A. in Fine Art in Avni Art institute of Tel Aviv, Israel in 1988. Since 1992, she had solo and group exhibitions in Israel and all around the world.
